Hi there!

Well, this may or may not be normal during exercise depending on one’s age. The maximum target heart rate during exercise is given by 220-Age. With lower intensity exercise the heart rate would be lower. Rates higher than the maximum target heart rates may need an evaluation by a physician.
Hope this helps.

Take care!
