Boy that is one that i haven't heard of in many many years.....it is almost an obsolete disease in this century....at least in well developed countries

Rheumatic Fever:
Is an inflammatory disease that usually happens after a bout with strep throat or scarlet fever and can effect the brain, heart, joints or bones and usually happens a couple of weeks after someone gets the strep or scarlet.  It normally effects children up until their mid teens and seldom adults or under 20%

Rheumatic Heart Disease:
Usually effects the valves of the heart
