A couple of Hamster questions

I have called around our city to find a vet who deals with small animals. There is not one single one. All I wanted to do was find out the sex of the hamsters. We have 2 robovorski hamsters. My son and I looked up online to see how we can determine ourselves. My son thinks they are both male. To me it is hard to tell. What is the best way to find this out? They say something online about a line on their belly...I am not quite understanding it that well.

I am not sure if you deal with hamsters or not but I thought I would give it a try. Also, do you know if it is okay to get the hamsters a new cage and move them to it? I mean are they okay with change or will this soon effect their health? And their reaction to each other.  We want them to live as long as possible.  They are doing me a lot of good as well as my son.  They make me smile and they are so cute. People just don't give them a good chance to see this.

Thanks so much ahead of time.

I will do so, thank you so much. My son is really good at picking them up so I will get him to do so tomorrow sometime so I can take a pic.

Hello there,

I do not vet hamsters often enough to answer your question.  However, I will ask one of my colleagues, to try to help you.  Could you please paste a couple of good, well lighted photos of the belly areas of your hamsters for us?  This will expedite evaluation.  And also please post again as a new question with the photos.

It might also help if you post to the exotic forum in community.
