Dog Puking and very Lathargic and dizzy

My pup has some sort of undiagnosed liver dysfunction that the doctors cannot determine.

Recently he has been puking up his meals and getting dizzy and very lethargic to the point he cannot hold his head up. I am worried but am unsure what to do. If it is not his liver dysfunction I am wandering what else could cause this to happen??

said that he had a high level of calcium built up and other toxins in his blood that his liver should have been filtering. The doctor also tested Peter's kidneys to see if they were working correctly.

She did not notice any kidney issues but thinks that peters liver is not functioning correctly and that his kidney's are being over worked. I have not had an altra sound to confirm any results but she also thinks it could be a shunt and it could cause the toxins to bypass the liver and over work the kidneys.  Pete sometimes get really dizzy and really lethargic and cannot even hold his head up. Thus we got these tests done to see what could be causing the systems

Hi, I am sorry to hear about your puppy and glad to help.

This usually requires a veterinary specialist in internal medicine to properly work up your puppies case.

Blood work, urine and a neurological exam would help to pinpoint this exact problem.

This could be a congenital liver shunt for example. If you are able to get complete copies of the labs taken so far and can email them to me I am glad to review and offer more specific suggestions.
