Dog with weak blatter

Dog with weak blatter

Sophie is a 5 year old great pyriness mix. Lately her vet perscribed antibodics for infected rashes. Since the medication, she has an uncontrollable blatter which she leaves large puddles of urine where she lays. She also leaks urine while she is walking.
Could the antibodics be the cause of the reaction?

Antibiotics will not cause urinary incontinence but steroids or cortisone will cause
temporary incontinence. Ask your  Veterinarian if she received an injection or steroid pills.
A urinalysis should also be done.
Primary incontinence which is estrogen dependent is easily treated with oral medicines.
