Eating his faeces

Hello,
I notice that for the past two days my 3 and a half months old Fox Terrier eat his own faeces. What does that mean ?

Please have his feces (or faeces) checked by your veterinarian for gastrointestinal parasites, and treated if any are found.  Add a good Probiotic formula to his diet.  Probiotics are the good bacterial in the digestive tract and include acidophilus, bifida factors and others.

Lastly, some dogs just like the taste of their poop.  To stop him eating his own poop you can place a 1/4 to 1/2  teaspoon of Monosodium Glutamate powder on his food for 3 consecutive days.  Monosodium Glutamate will impart a horrible taste to your dog's poop and will stop him from eating it.  It usually takes three days.  Monosodium Glutamate is safe for this short period of time, and is available in Grocery Stores and Markets as a meat tenderizer in the spice isle.  It the United States a common brand is "Accent".
