Fleas and ticks paper

I am writing a paper on flea and tick products.  The assignment says breed should be considered when choosing a flea product.  I cannot find any information to support this.  Any suggestions or information?

Do a google search for the specific ingredients in each of the flea and tick products you are listing and put in a sample breed.  There are more problems with specific breeds with Heartworm products than with flea and tick products, for example: Heartgard (Ivermectin) can be dangerous in Collies and Collie Mix's.
