Goopy Eye

Hi doctor,
My 1.5 month old rabbit had a red, swollen, teary eye when I woke up this morning. She seems just fine and I assume she scratched it somehow. What should I be doing if anything?
Thanks!

She does need eye drops since a corneal scratch can be painful and could become infected with out eye antibiotics.  Occasionally, these scratches will heal on their own, but you must bathe the eye several times per day with saline solution and place warm compresses on the affected eye.  If the eye is painful some rabbits will continue to rub or scratch the affected eye and can make it worse, and in this case he will have to be seen by a vet.

the 1.5 month rabbit now has two teary eyes, with the left swollen and red.
Does she need meds?
