Grey colored poop

Hi I have a  question regarding my cat she has been having grey colored poop for the last 3  days. Today it had a little brown color to it but was mainly grey. She has  been meowing alot but she is a overweight cat and tends to meow like that to get fed so I don't know what to think. The meowing just started tonight but she is also playing alot like running around the house fast, chasing her own tail etc. She has been eating good if anything she eats too much lol  Her energy level seems good. I just would like to know what could be possibly causing this and if it is anything I should be worried about. Thanks for any advice and have a great day:)

Thank you very much for your opinion I appreciate it. I looked at her poop the other day and it was only a little grey and this time had some brown in it which I was happy to see because brown is usually the normal color  of poop for pets I believe. Today I checked her poop again and it was all brown so I think she is getting better but I will definitly look into those products you mentioned. I also wanted to say I really appreciate being able to come to this pet forum to get professional opinions from  you and the other vets who have answered questions for me in the past it is a Blessing. God Bless you and Merry Christmas:)

It would be best to bring a fresh fecal sample for analysis to your vet soon and have it checked for parasites.

Chasing tails may be a sign of impacted anal glands, so it might also be a good idea to have them checked as well by your vet.

A probiotic such as RX Biotic or Fortiflora might also be a good idea to help with proper digestion.  These or the equivalent are available from your vet.
