Help!

Hi, my dog who is usually happy and bubbly, has gone very quiet and lethargic over the last day and a half. she is not eating, and drinking a little, but not as much as she usually does. she had 2 little poos yesterday- 1 was a very tiny amount and soft, and the other again was a tiny amount but more runny, and she has still not poo'ed yet. she has recently come off her breeding season, and has had no contact with any male dogs.

She could have anything from a pyometra, which is a problem with the uterus, to gastritis.  Please take her to your veterinarian.

Thankyou, i took her took the vet at the first possible chance i coulod as had been the w.end and also before i got this reply. It was indeed Pyometra-she has been speyed and is almost back to her usual self. just future reference for other owners-she started discharging from her back end. Just happy to have her back and almost well.
