How much for surgery?

I need to know what to expect to pay for this surgery. I'm on a fixed income and would like the best price.

I am sorry to hear about your dogs ACL injury and glad to help.

Surgery fees vary with each surgeon, therefore I can't quote an exact price. Generally  anywhere from $1-3000.00 dollars or more. Unfortunately in many cases once one hind leg stifle ACL ligamant is surgically corrected, the other hind knee ligaments fails which then necessitates another surgery.

Injury to the dogs hind leg knee, also called the stifle joint is the number one most common musculo-skeletal injury in dogs. It is not painful and tends to recur. Healing is slow over 9 months.

We have had wonderful results using two natural pet products and avoiding surgery completely.

If you'd like to discuss this further please feel free to contact my veterinary office directly.

Best Wishes
Dr Carol Osborne, DVM
