Please keep the wound as clean as possible washing with a mild soap, than drying.  Neosporin is fine, but must be reapplied every time it is licked or wiped off.

If your cat stops eating, or acts sick he really should be seen by a vet.  There are vets who will see charity cases either at their practices or at local animal shelters.  Please call some animal shelters and vets in your area to see if someone can help.

I would think so....Neosporin is simply petroleum jelly with a splash of antibiotic.  I use it all the time for the stray cats in my neighborhood that show up to my porch scratched up.  Also try hydrogen peroxide...It's cheap, and will sting a bit but not to worry.  Works great...

I agree..... I have used both Neosporin & Peroxide on stray cats, also....Had great success by using both.....Take care of yourself & your cat.....God bless...
