Just wondering

Hi i have lost 3 dogs in the last 5 months it has been heartbreaking,Phantom I was told died of a enlarged heart,I never even knew as many times as he went to a vet no one caught it,my vet tried but there wasnt much he could do,phantom was almost five.lance died of killer bee stings in texas and just after thanksgiving my Babydoll died of a huge tumer,as many pics that we took of her we never seen the tumer,she was acting fine until it got like a tear in it,she was eating playing,she was gaining some weight but she was spayed ayear earlier and we thought it was commen for a dog to gain weight after being  spayed,what  I am wondering is there any thing I could or should have done to have caught these conditions any earlier they all seem to happen so sudden

I am so sorry about all the sadness that you have experienced in the last year.  It sounds as if you were an excellent owner and took great care of your dogs.  Please don't feel as if you should have done anything differently.  These were just tragedy's out of your control.
