I am very sorry that your cat has developed Feline Leukemia!  Unfortunately it is not curable but immunostimulation and other therapies may increase life span.

The following is a list of immune stimulants (All must be performed by your veterinarian):

1.  ImmunoRegulin
2.  Acemannan
3. Interferon Alpha
4. Lymphocyte T-Cell Immune Modulator ;http://www.imulan.com
5. Staph Protein A
6. Baypamun
7. Moducare (hypoxin)
8. Dimethylglycine
9. Epogen

The protocols for the above therapies are available to veterinarians.  If you are interested in one of the above  protocols and it is unavailable to your veterinarian please have your vet contact me at American Animal Hospital.

Over the counter products that should be included in your cats diet which boost the immune system include: Colostrum, Probiotics, Aloe, Missing Link Dietary Supplement, Alpha Lipoic acid, Antioxidants, A grain-free, high quality all wet, canned,  or home-made diet, Omega 3 Fatty Acids, Astragalus, Medicinal Mushrooms, Green Tea Extract, and many more.

If your cat has symptoms of disease the symptoms must be controlled by symptomatic therapies, such as,  appetite stimulants, treatment of all secondary infections, such as hemobartonellosis, etc

If your cat develops cancer, than there are Chinese and Western therapies that can be added to your cat’s protocol, such as Hoxsey Formula, Essiac Tea, Wei Qi Booster  Sheng di Huang, **** Quai and more.  Acupuncture can also help as an immune booster, to stimulate appetite and more.

It would be best to find a holistic veterinarian to supervise your cat’s treatment for optimal success.
