Odd one out paw

Hi

Something has been worrying my daughter and I about Tato, our pet guinea pig.  He has four spiky paws all present and correct, except one of them is pink instead of dark grey.  Okkk... but the pink one looks a little worn and like skin/fur is rubbed off on the leg too???  He doesn't seem to be bothered by it, yet it is concerning whether it is mange???  It appears clean and smooth but looks slightly sore.  Need we worry?

It could be due to a traumatic injury, mange, fungal, or bacterial infection, or even an endocrine disorder.    It may have just started on this leg but could spread to another.  If it progresses it would be best to have the leg examined by a vet who is familiar with exotics.
