Raised ALT

Hi

Approx 3 months ago we had some bloodwork done on our cat as he had lost a little weight for unknown reasons (0.7kg in 3 months - initial weight 7kg). It showed raised ALT and eosinophilia. He had treatment for parasites and the blood were repeated. His ALT was back within normal limits and the eosinophilia had improved but remained slightly. The bloods were again repeated last week and his ALT is high again (222 - should be below 129). The eosinophil count is now normal but he has a high lymphocyte and neutophil count now.  He is having an ultrasound this week. His appetite seems fine and other than an episode of vomiting followed by diarrhoea  last week (mild and lasted only 2 days) he seems his usual self. He was weighed last week and appeared to have lost another 0.2KG although this was immediately after the D+V. What I would like to know is whether you have any ideas what could cause an ALT result to change like that i.e - increase, go back to normal range then increase again? Many thanks for your help.
