It is not a good idea to use over the counter medication without first consulting your veterinarian.  Dramamine is not the best choice for sedation in cats.  It is not FDA approved for use in cats and has many side effects.  It can cause an inability to empty the bladder normally in some cats.  This can be a problem in cats due to their high propensity for urinary problems.

There are many better choices for sedation.  If you would like to have your cat groomed please consider using the groomer at a veterinary facility where you can get professional advice about safe sedation.
