Skin Tags

Recently, my cat has developed small skin tage on his body.  I've found about 8-10 and they don't seem to bother him.  They are very small, white little firm skin tags.  Should I be concerned, or is this common?  As much as I love my kitty, a vet bill right now would break me.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

If they are truly skin tags than there would be nothing to worry about, however, only a biopsy of one of two would give a definitive diagnosis. Skin cancers increase with age, so if your cat is still young there is a reduced chance of them being cancerous (just remember that there are always exceptions to the rules).

Please save up some money and have a couple biopsied when you can afford it.
