Vet help for low income pet owners

Our min pin was taken to the vet because she had been having diahrea and throwing up quite a bit. The vet said she was very dehydrated and  there is something wrong related to her kidneys but we have very little specific info because we could not afford all the necessary blood work. They wanted to keep her for week but at $800 we could not afford that either. She is home with us but we have to give her an IV twice a day and she is on Cerenia Tablets, Baytril, and Amphogel.  Can anyone shed a little light on what is wrong with her, what these meds are for, and most importantly how we can help her more??? Are there any resources for people who love their pets dearly but have financial troubles? Our vet was not extremely helpful or friendly  ) -:

Couldn't afford all the test needed. She was apparently very dehydrated and the vet says there is something wrong related to her kidneys but we have very little info.

The baytril is an antibiotic for infection, fluids promote hydration and flush toxins from the kidneys and cerenia is an anti-emetic to stop vomiting. Amphogel is an anti-acid. If you can post lab results, I am glad to help further
