Water Drinking

What is the normal amount of water a 11 lb dog should drink?  Some days my dog drinks a bunch and others less.  He just had his teeth cleaned Tuesday and he isn't drinking as much as he was on Monday.  Is this normal?  Thanks.

Your dog was probably placed on IV or Sub cutaneous fluids during the dentistry procedure.

For a short period of time following a dentistry,  most dogs usually don't drink or eat normally due to the general anesthesia and the fluid therapy given during the procedure.  

An eleven pound dog really only requires 200 to 400 mls in a 24 hour period depending on activity level and other factors.
