bee sting allergy

bee sting allergy

My dog was seen last week for a bee sting. Her face was very swollen she had hives all over her body. They gave her benadry and steroids to get things to calm down.I gave her benadryl for 3 days following per my vet's orders.I came home last night and she was full of hives and her tongue was quite big.I took her back in and they gave her the same medicine. They are thinking maybe she had some residual from the week before. Is this possible?I did not find any evidence that she had been stung the second time..Also...after both injections she had potty accidents in the house....(she never does this) Is it possible that the benadryl made her kinda goofy?

This is certainly some type of canine allergy and a complete blood profile should be helpful to determined the exact cause.

Taking a close look at your dogs food and toys may also be helpful.

Your dogs resent urinary accidents are likely a result of the steroid injections.
