My dog was diagnosed with Lymphoma a little over a month ago. He is on 20 mg of prednisone. but sometimes he breathes heavy. is this due to the drugs or Lymphoma. The vet gave him 4 -6 weeks.. He is on week 4..I am also giving him Essiac Tea and Cat's Claw
he is about 55 lbs.
I am very sorry about your dog! Prednisone alone can cause heavy breathing. If the lymph nodes in his neck are large enough to constrict his trachea that can contribute to the problem.
