doxycycline

my dog is taking doxycycline prior to her heartworm injections. she was a stray, she tested heavy positive for heartworm. i would like to give her spirulina while taking the doxycycline if it won't inhibit the antibiotics effectivness. i know that spirulina has immune system boosting properties, can i give her spiulina while taking doxycycline? thank you

Yes spirulina is fine and checking with your vet before making any changes to your dogs protocol is always best
