health concerns

My perisan cat recently seems to drink a lot of water.  Does eat and elimate find.  He seems to sleep a lot.  Is playful and likes to go outside daily sit in warm sun on patio.   For about 15 minutes under supervision.   Should I be concern of his behavior?

It is a good idea to have blood work and a urinalysis performed on your cat.  Increased drinking can be a sign of diabetes, kidney disease, hyperthyroid disease, a urinary tract infection, and more.  Your cat is 13 years old and is considered a senior citizen now, but, many vets perform senior profiles at a reduced rate.
