lazy eye?

lazy eye?

my dogs right eye has been acting weard. usually in the mornings it looks like she has something in her eyes because shes always keeping it half shut. when i bring her to my face and make her look at me her right eye looks away at something that moves. its like she moves it on purpose to see around.

id hate to see my dog go blind because i didnt do anything about it.

i dont feel confrtable taking her to the vet because its also a dog shelter, and when we take her there she acts like it makes her sick and she has panic attacks(she probrobly went threw some trauma when she was born). if this sounds like something that should be taking to a vet then thats what im going to have to do. i was just hoping its something not serouis

Eyes are delicate organs and things can go really badly very fast.  Many eye problems are treatable with simple drops or anti-biotics.  However, some eye conditions are serious in and of themselves, and further, the eyes are the "window" into the body and may be an indicator of something else going on where the eye sign is only a symptom of a larger problem.

I would not take her to the shelter.  Please take her to a regular practicing veterinary or veterinary ophthalmologist for a proper exam and precise treatment!
