med question

I have a small dog (11lbs) and she was recently at the vet for an injury to her head and other lacerations from another dog. I always worry about over dosing because of her size. She was given 0.30 cc Rimadyl 0.80 cc Buprenex 2.00mg Dexamethasone 1.50cc Amoxicillin. I questioned the vet about this because of the Buprenex with a head injury and  more pain meds when she had not even woken up at any time before she passed. I hate to say it but I was kind of brushed off as a greiving pet owner that was over reacting but the numbers seem high to me? Is this a reasonable amount of narcotic or am I just overthinking it. I am from a fairly rural area and large animals are more the speciality
so I do understand if the amounts are off I just wanted to know. Thank you for your time.

I would be happy to help you but I need the concentration per cc.
Buprenex is an good choice for this situation unless the pet is depressed mentally.

justmeinmt mentioned the head injury and "she had not even woken up at any time before she passed." That sounds like a serious head injury unless the dog was still asleep from anesthesia to suture lacerations.
