Hi again
Dr Cheng...I wanted to update you on what happened today.  I went to see dr and he started chi chi on marshmallow tincture for nausea and ginseng royal jelly for appetite stimulant.  He wanted me to take her off the mirtazipine because there are too many side effects.  He also give me some meds to bind her phosphurus and creatinine in her bowel so she can get rid of it and said i would probably have to have subq every other week or so to flu her out.  But the meds he gave her he said she would have to take them the rest of her life.  I told my vet today about the diferent dosage of remeron and they sid that dosage was for cats and would't change it.  so she didn't get any today.  What do you think?   I just hope she gets to a point that shes happy again and moving around alot better.  He didnt want her taking the multivite anymore because he said it was probably messing with her stomach...So tell me what you think?...i was wondering about continuing with remeron?

Try the recommendations and prescriptions given to you by your holistic vet.  If your cat starts eating on these herbal formula's than you need go no further.  If the herbs are not effective in getting your cat to eat you must do anything that is effective.  A cat who doesn't eat, is a cat who get's hepatic lipidosis (fatty liver) disease.  If your cat continues not to eat than Remeron, or Periactin, or other medication is warrented, and even more drastic measures may be necessary, such as placing a feeding tube.
