my dog has plaque on his teeth, we give him Denta Bones but it doesnt help.When we try to brush his teeth he runs away and hides, and my granddaughter wont let the vet clean his teeth under anesthesia.
If you aren't seeing white teeth, you are seeing tartar on teeth, not placque. Tartar is cement like and can't be brushed off. Tartar harbors bacteria and the gums and likely teeth are painful. Nothing except a dental cleaning under anesthesia will remove the tartar. Please read:
