when my rabbit is going to the toilet he lifts up his behind and deposits small stones in his urine, he looks to be in pain?

He has urinary calculi (stones in his bladder).  You need to get him to a vet ASAP.  The vet must X-Ray the bladder to see if there are any stones left in the bladder that are too large to pass through his urethra, and these may have to be surgically removed.

Rabbits who are fed high calcium oxylate diets are prone to bladder stones, i.e., alfalfa hay contains a lot of calcuim oxylate.
