Good morning...I am glad to see another Siamese lover on this forum!

I am not sure what kind of diseases are prevalent in Argentina, but it is a good idea to have your veterinarian examine your cat and then vaccinate her for rabies and feline distemper.   These two disease are common, are very contagious, and are deadly.  In the case of rabies, it is also transmissable to people.  Also, a good physical exam done ideally every 6 months is a great way to keep your pet happy and healthy for a long period of time.

If your cat also goes outdoors frequently or comes into contact with cats who go outdoors, it is also advisable to consider vaccinating her for Feline Leukemia.

As far as parasites go, again, I am not familiar with the particular species that infect pets in South America.   I can tell you that many cats can harbor roundworms that are transmissible to people.  Your veterinarian should be able to provide you with information about the parasites that are common in your area and what dewormers are most effective.

Veronica, si usted está embarazada, usted debe tener otra persona limpia el lecho de arena higiénica. O usted puede llevar guantes al limpiar el lecho de arena higiénica.
