Ecotrin for cats?

by Brandi26, Sep 27, 2008 06:48PM
Is it ok to give Ecotrin to cats? We have a spayed female, approximately 6 years old and about 12-14 pounds, limping on her left foreleg. It isn't broken or fractured, probable soft tissue trauma. Any info would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!

You can give your cat approximate 50mg of Aspirin (the active ingredient in Ecotrin) only EVERY 3 DAYS.

There are much more effective prescription medicines for pain available from your vet.
