Thanks for coming to medhelp.org Sounds like your golden has developed an ear infection since your last visit to the veterinarian. In dogs this infection typically occurs in the outer canal and is called "otitis externa". In humans this typically occurs in the middle ear and is called "otitis media" This infection is usually caused by a yeast infection, a bacterial infection or both. I suggest you take her to the veterinarian. They can take a swab of the waxy material and look at it under the microscope to determine which kind of infection it is. Once that's determined they can prescribe the appropriate medication to make her better.
Hope this helps,
Keep me posted.
Thanks,
Dr Dean Vicksman
