What can i give my dog for swolleness in his paw? He had jumped off of the backyards stairs and im thinking he landed wrong and now he's right back paw is swollen and i dont know what kind of meds i should give him. Please what can anyone recommend me give him?

You absolutely shouldn't give him anything over-the-counter (OTC), as these are mostly poisonous to dogs and cats (often times causing severe stomach ulcers and kidney failure)! I'd recommend that you bring him to a vet for exam to find out what's going on - he may have something stuck in his foot and an underlying infection, or a soft-tissue injury. Your vet will be able to appropriately dispense pain medication for him.
