loss of weight and balance

my cat has lost a lot of weight and her balance she hadnt eaten for about 3 days but she is now eating again do you that her loss of appetite is the cause for this and now that she is eating again will she get better?

It states your cat was last examined on November 12th.  Hopefully they did bloodwork as these symptoms suggest a full veterinary exam, comprehensive bloodwork (including thyroid test) as well as blood pressure should be checked to be sure we can rule out or find the cause of the problems so the best treatment can be initiated.
Weight loss, appetite changes, and/or balance issues can be related to any or more of the following most likely diseases: kidney changes, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, hypertension, or triaditis.  Please have your veterinarian do the tests to help you get answers.  The fact that she is now eating is excellent, but may not relate to the problem at hand.
