Spayed dog

I had my 1 year boston terrier spayed on Jan 8 and i noticed today that she is swollen on each side. She is acting normal she is eating less. zjust wanted to see if i sould take her to the er

Hi,

Swelling around an incision site may be normal. As long as the incision is not leaking, painful or massively swollen with fluid easily palpated this may be simply normal response to incision and the healing process. If the dog is eating and drinking, has normal body temperature (99.5-102.5, x=101.5) this is likely normal. If in doubt, followup with your doctor for confirmation.

Hi...could you share some more information?  Where is she swollen?  Around the incision site?  Her vulva?   Her abdomen?  Also, how is she acting?  Is she still eating/drinking?  Urinating ok?  Defecating?

Knowing a little more detail will help.

She is acting fine. the swollen is around the incision site. She is eating good going to the bath fine

thank you all for your help i will give it a couple  of days and if it dont get better i will do a follow up visit
