How Long Can You Live Just Drinking Orange Juice

My mother-in-law refuses to eat. Since Nov. 21, 2008 she has eaten nearly nothing but only drinks orange juice (after hip surgery - and I know it's not unusual for this to happen). She is 90 years old, 5' 3" tall and currently weighs 82 pounds - she's in a nursing home. She has an advance directive that indicates no tube feeding. She always says she's not hungry, just thirsty. I can't imagine she will live much longer this way. Anyone know what we can expect? Thank you.......

Dear tallbarb,
Are the doctors feeding her intravenously? What does her doctors say? I don’t know if she’s had any history with eating disorders. She presents with numerous other complications.
