1 mg of xanax nightly cause withdrawal?

If I take 1mg of xanax at night for 1 month...would I get withdraw symtpoms after the month is up?

It seems this dose is too little to cause such withdrawal.

just get restless and hard to relax.

also i am constantly aware of my heart beating in my abdomen/side area.

Although you've only been taking the Xanax for one month, and only at night, you were on a fairly substantial dose at 1mg.
You may be able to just quit, but I think you would have some w/d symptoms. I am not qualified to give you a taper schedule. You should consult with your prescribing doctor for help in getting off this med. Or talk with your local pharmacist, who is a DOCTOR OF PHARMACOLOGY and will be able to tell you how to w/d slowly and safely from Xanax.
Please speak with someone before you just up and quit. This is a very tough med to w/d from.

1mg was my main dose.. taken nightly. I was on it for 2 years, went on a drug study was off of Xanax for 3-4 months, found a bottle (it was a new prescription that I forgot about) and bam... finished up with the bottle over a period of a month. After that, I recognized I was going through withdrawal. Long story short. hehe. Follow everyone's advice here about going to a pharmacist or your doctor in regards to setting up a schedule on how to detox/withdraw from Xanax.
