Hi, I'm a 21 yr old femaleCondoms Female condoms Female sexual dysfunction who has been experiencing some very strange symptoms now for over a week and was hoping someone could help me out and see what their thoughts might be. Mine, of course, are all pessimistic.
The symptoms all started about a week and a half ago when I was down the beach for the weekend. I had been spending the nights out at bars drinking and the days laying out in the sunActinic keratosis Fontanelles - sunken Liver spots Sun protection Sunburn Sunburn first aid Sunken fontanelles (superior view). (It was a period of 3 nights) The last night of drinking I drank a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys too much and got sick. The next day at the beach I was pretty dehydrated and decided to take a nap on the beach. It was then that I felt sort of a rush all over my body just before drowsing off. (This was different then when you're about to fall asleep and you sometimes get that jolt or feeling like your falling) It made me move without me doing it for a longer period of time and it felt like an adrenaline rush. Since then I have been experiencing the rushes eveytime I try and go to sleep.
I'm a very athletic person and have never had any significant problems other than minor sore throats. I do have some history of getting panic attacks. The last time I received one was after my high school graduation and since I just graduate college I was wondering if maybe this could be a factor? After high school graduation my panic attacks dealt more with my heart and rapid beating all the time where this is just a rapid rush right before sleep. Could my hormones be causing this since my period was a week late. (my periods are rarely on time) I haven't been to a gyno in 2 years but am going to one this summer. Is there anyway I could be pregnant? I would tremendously appreciate anyones thoughts on this matter since I am truely beginning to get freaked out!
honey, go over to the heart disease site & look at some of the postings there on PVCs. That's probably what you started having. That's not unusual for all the stress that you've been putting your body through (drinking, panic attacks, stress, etc,,.) After the doctor checks you out good, then concentrate on getting a calm life and your nervous system back into good order. Sounds like you have gotten it over senstive right now. It can heal back, the sooner you know how to do it, the easier. Good luck.
thanks for your response!! it really makes me feel better to have people who will respond with any type of response or thoughts on the issue. the only thing that troubles me is trying to realize what is really a health concern and what is me stressing or being a hypochondriac and knowing how far and to how many doctors to go to in making sure i'm okay! thanks again for the post i really appreciate it!
Been there, done that. The doctors really do usually catch something if they run EKGs, and you wear a holter for them. Stress does weird things to your body, and usually on the same organ every time. Dr. Claire Weekes has some good books. Get ahold of them if you can. You'll be ok. Really. Fear releases more adrenalin, and adrenalin more symptoms, and the cycle goes around and around. Read the other postings on anxiety & in the heart disease section (most people in the heart section have healthy hearts!!-- they just have bad horrible symptoms). You'll learn alot by research. I know you feel all alone and you're "gonna die". But this is really a commong thing. Really!! Everyone's body has an organ that responds to stress first. Some is their headaches, some is stomach (acid - or IBS), but when it's the heart, it is really scary, but your heart is very strong!! Don't forget to keep exercising. That's a good stress reducer and reduces adrenalin too.
i am 21 year old female to and have been battling anxiety and stress and panic and im on zoloft and clonopin but im just not feeling all the way like my self and now my muscles just ache im tired all of the time and i freak out easy so i immediately think im dieing if anyone is going through this to or has please help i dont know whats going on thanks april
maybe the zoloft is too much, or dose of clonopin too high? You're too young to be like that. Get an exercise program going & a real good hobby. Read all the forums and that may help you too.
You'll be ok, you just have to know you will!! Good lluck
