.25 mg Klonopin once a day - addiction?

Hi ... I have been taking .25mg of klonopin once a day for about 2 weeks now... while I get through some work travel before I go back to try SSRI meds... can .25 mg of klonopin once a day cause a physical addiction if I have only been on it a couple weeks?

Blu is right, it's highly unlikely you would be physically dependant on the Klonopin at this point.  Especially because you were only dosing once a day, so it didn't get a chance to optimally build up in your system.

You may experience some very mild symptoms, but I would doubt that.  Best thing to do to ensure a comfortable discontinuation is ask your doc for a quick taper plan.  If you decrease your dose before stopping for about a week, it will give you a little extra reassurance that you shouldn't have a problem.

I doubt it, because you are taking a very low dose, and only once a day as it is.  When you stop taking it, I would say that at the very worst, you may experience some mild discomfort, but that it should not be anything that would be a big deal. :) - Blu
