.5mg of Klonopin with Lunesta?

Sorry for all the questions....

If I take .5mg of Klonopin at night and still have trouble sleeping would it be safe to take 3mg of Lunesta as well?

Did you talk with your doctor about taking the two together, like a half hour before bed? I used to take my kpin before bed with some medication that makes you tired together. How does the lunesta work btw? ive been curious about that, and rozerem-- prob just due to all the advertising on tv haha

i was going to ask the EXACT same question last night  l0l.  i searched for previous topics and found none related this closely. last night i took 1 ambien and i'm also taking 5 mg klonopin for the last 3 days.  i didnt die  =P

but not to sure if lunesta works similar to ambien

Lunesta seems to work okay for me. I've only taken it three or four times (I only take it as needed and not on a nightly basis.) I was prescribed Klonopin for anxiety and sleep and she said to not take it with Lunesta (this is after I asked *her*, she didn't mention it until then.) The Klonopin seems to work as well as the Lunesta, BTW.

Kevin, I've read that Lunesta and Ambien are the same "types" of sleep aids but that is all I know. I hope Ryan can clear this up for us.

yea i took the ambien (  a generic version) and as its a benzo to some degree i am told.

it has a calming affect on my anxiety, which is why i take it once a week, usually on saturday night ( thats my compensation for having a boring weekend).  but it didnt give me any relief this time just felt alittle off after it and went to bed anyway,  since klonopin hasnt worked for me yet i'm kinda impatiently waiting   =\
