A tough situation

My husband asked for a sepearation after almost 7 years of marriage and 13 years of relationship.  We have not had many problems, so this was a shock.  The past 2 years have brought several moves, family deaths, new jobs, a return to college for a doctorate - all major changes.  Now he says that he does not love me anymore.  I am sad, scared, nervous, and having problems at times eating.  Also, my allergies seem much wors in the past week.

I am in counseling, and my husband will start counseling in the next week or 2.  I have an allergist, and he recommended allergy shots; however, now with counseling and a legal separation, I will not have money to get the allergy shots.

Any help or advice?

A very sad story and I'm so sorry you are going through such a horrible time. You have had so much stress in your life and now this.............but you've come to the Anxiety Forum, yet did not speak of having any anxiety. Your reactions of not eating or sleeping I would say are pretty normal under these conditions.
If you cannot afford your allergy shots, I will assume you can't afford to see your doctor either. Is there anyone you could borrow the money from for this very important issue? You could talk this over with your local pharmacist, who IS a doctor...........perhaps he/she might be able to offer some suggestions as to a viable alternative to the allergy shots. It's just a thought. You might also go to the Allergy Forum and see if anyone there can offer you some advice. I do know that many drug companies offer help with the cost of their medications. And I would have to question your husbands integrity, even in light of his claim not to love you anymore, for allowing you to suffer.
