ADVICE FOR PANIC ATTACKS!

Listen, this is more to help people, But I suffer from panic attacks on a regular basis.
My psychologist told me to name it, your panic attacks are not you.
They are someone else.
You aren't dieing you aren't having a heart attack, your having a panic attack.
Just face him and say "oh nice touch with the heart palpitations, your not so bad, I can face you, you punk.
And say things like that.
Stand up to your panic attacks.
It makes them less intense.
Please respond and tell me your progress.
Don't let them ruin your life.
FIGHT BACK!

Thank you so much for your unique perspective on panic attacks! I'm a math major and (obviously) a very logically minded person. Aside from that I'm a bit of a fighter. Nothing make me feel alive like a nice confrontation, or a few punches being thrown, so your approach to these panic attacks is a new and different approach I can relate to. I'm fully aware that my panic attacks are irrational and will cause no permanent harm (as so many ppl feel that it will), but taking an aggressive stand against my panic disorder has led to some decent improvements on my condition of life. Thank you for the simple and effective advice. You helped at least one person here

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THAT. I have used phrases like that when I get sensations and it trully seems to help me. Stay strong.
