Please see response to post above. You need to get some help ASAP, especially since you are contemplating adding alcohol to your mix. I would urgeUrge incontinence you to go to your local ED immediately and tell them what is going on.
You will never find the help you need in a bottle of pills or a bottle of booze.............

I know that you are struggling...I have seen your posts now for awhile, asking for help on this xanax/klonopin taper.
The bottom line is this: there is no easy way to get off of xanax. There will be difficult, psychologically painful times that will wear you down. The question I ask is this:
Are you weaning off of xanax because you want to or because your Dr. wants you to?
In order to get off of xanax, the first part of the formula starts with you. You have to want to do this so this drive...this determination...this desire will carry you through many of those rough patches.
We have been giving you advice that involves your Dr. and his/her guidance. This is critical - you have to follow their treatment program. If you don't like their opinion, then you need to find another.
There is no magic bullet to doing this...and please listen to our advice about staying away from alcohol as you're doing this weaning. You are taking 2 benzo's - you don't need to play with fire and see if you won't get burned.
Please take care of yourself, and please listen to the advice that's been given to you. I hope that you can get through this difficult period of weaning...

NO do not drink any alcohol at all....very bad mixture. I would suggest to try and address the reason you feel anxious. Is it in the past , the future, have you be belittled, whatever. You MUST address the issue for the anxiety. After doing that you MUST find a way to stroke yourself and allow yourself to LOVE you.
Anxiety is a debillitating disease, its totally disgusting as it ruins lives. We must know as sufferers, that there is hope. WE can make a difference in the way we process information.
Also I have to admit. The more anti anxiety medication I would take the more I had anxiety related symptoms. Now that I take .25mg of Xanax PRN the better I feel.
