I know this board is for questions and comments, but I wanted to put some info/quotes I found that could help people here. Just trying to help ...
1.Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through
experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened,
ambition inspired and success achieved.
3. In recent decades, scientific studies have supported the concept that our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual selves are inseparable. Our mental, emotional and spiritual health are just as important in protecting us from chronic illness as diet and exercise. Feeling connected to yourself and others, having a sense of purpose in life, feeling hopeful, being loved and to love, all help you create the life you want for yourself and are the key ingredients for maintaining overall health.
I would also like to add that I recently found the best website to answer my anxiety questions. My big problem has been that I just do not understand how anxiety can be responsible for making me feel so bad. I found a website that finally answered that question. The body's response to an anxiety ridden situation is to produce adrenalin. If you produce adrenalin and you don't need it your body can suffer the physical symptoms. Most anxiety disorders are on a subconscious level so you don't even realize that your body is producing adrenalin and you feel its effects. It can make you feel tired, weak, nauseated, cause vomiting and diarrhea and it can cause a feeling of pressure in your head. These are all very scary for us as anxiety sufferers but it helped me to understand how my body could feel like this. It makes sense to me that since I am overproducing adrenalin I feel the effects physically. I hope this has helped some of you who are worried about your symptoms. I hope this is the beginning of me understanding my disorder!
