Alcohol and burning skin

So I'm wondering if anyone who experiences burning skin anxiety symptoms notices if it gets slot worse when drinking alcohol?

Due to a genetic condition, I can not drink anymore.  However, I understand what you are talking about.  When I have a severe panic attack, I feel a "prickly heat" all over.  While I understand and in no way judge drinking alcohol in general, it may be something you can't do until you have the anxiety under control.  One gets impaired from drinking (and I am not saying drunk, even just buzzed) and those with anxiety can have issues with the feeling of losing control.  Are you seeing a medical professional?  You can ask them about it.  I am a big believer in communication.  If you need support, here we are!

I too have had this experiance with the burning skin while drinking and taking anxiety meds. One question, how much are you drinking and is it hard liqour. I became alergic (allergic) to seagrams due to over drinking it and to this day if I drink it i will break out in a burning rash....Hope you feel better

Im not drinking that much, but every now and then i drink a bit more.  Im not drinking hard liqour, just beer usually. maybe 6-7 beers in a 6 hour period or so.  Its just so strange as before i had anxiety i used to drink alot with friend (just on weekends) and this never used to happen.  I agree i should not be drinking alcohol whilst having anxiety, but sometimes its nice to go out with friends and be able to have a few drinks.

Is it possible that having anxiety has caused my body to become hypersensitive to alcohol??  I know a strong coffee makes me really light headed and anxious.

I am seeing a medical professional atm, i will ask them.
