I believe that you've also neglected April 23rd, which in many parts of the world is known as International Buy New Underpants Day.
I personally have a big red circle around THAT day!

I didn't know that french fries and vinegar was unusual.  Everyone up here eat our fries that way unless the fries aren't that great and then we drown them in ketchup.  If you want something that is really French Canadian but can be found all over Canada now is poutine. What is that, you ask?  Well, I'll tell you...It is  french fries topped with gravy and cheese curd.  I know it sounds a little different, but don't knock it till you've tried it...not exactly diet food, mind you.

Anyone who must dip their fries into ketchup should be deported! To Canada. Where they will be taught the correct way to partake of French Fries.
