Alone?

by Justplayguitar16, May 08, 2007 12:00AM
Am i alone or does everyone experience this?

You know those famous stomach / intestine sounds. Not just the hungry ones. Does everybody get all those sounds. DailY?? Like me , im a nervous wreck and it grosses me out to hear them , but does anybody else get them movement sounds in your sides of abdomen , lower abdomen.... and so on? is it normal to get that every single day at least twice?

I get it too. It is normal. THat is just our body digesting everything. It will also make more "noises" when you are anxious. That is weird that you wrote this, I was just listening to my stomach!!

My stomach talks to me constantly!  Relax, it is normal....I had these sounds even before my anxiety problems began....some people just have very loud stomachs...RELAX!!!

Yep, in fact I work in the medical field and my patients and families come in to a small room with me - everybody has them and we can all hear each other's bellies.  I just say - "whoo - excuse me I'm soo hungry"  even if I'm not:)

Yep, I agree.  I normally have a fairly quiet stomach, but if I had been fasting a lot (due to anxiety) and then would eat, boy it would make some noise.  And because I don't normally experience that, it would of course freak me out.

I hear other people's digestion, though.  Wish I didn't, haha, but I do.

Anyway, those noises you hear...nothing is going horribly wrong.  It's just fluids and food and **** moving around.
