Anger problems. I know why but what do you do?

I have been horrible to be around. I live and take care of my elderly mother and I am divorced. I call myself a part time dad and a failure in life and I hope there is a next life that is better.

Every morning I seem to get up in a bad mood. My mother notices and my daughter notices. My coworkers notice.

My income is less than my bills, I take care of my mom, I am divorced, etc...

I am tired of me.

I can relate to this. I used to have chronic irritability which was caused from stress and negative thinking but I found ways to reduce the stress, like exercising, eating a better diet and engaging in hobbies I enjoy.  From what you wrote it sounds like stress might be the root cause. You should figure out ways to reduce stress.

This is the same concern you brought up recently:

What have you done to address it?  I gave you some suggestions, have you tried any of them?  Spoken to your doctor or therapist about it?

Nothing changes if nothing changes......that's a great saying, and so very true.  It's very hard to get motivated to do something when we're feeling badly, but unless we do, nothing will change.  You have to help yourself.

I recommend rereading the thread where many people gave you some great advice, and realize that maybe instead of sitting around hating yourself, and feeling like a failure....grab the bull by the horns and do something about it!  It's not easy, and takes work and patience, but you can start making small changes that will have you feeling better about yourself.
