Anxiety, OCD of HIV? Experts please help ...

Ok i just had my 7 week negative test using a rapid hiv test with finger p r i c k.. and got a bandaid over the test p r i c k

I washed my hands with soap and water right after in the same clinic bathroom, but my worry is since the bandaid got wet what if the toilet paper dispenser or toilet paper it self i used to dry my hands had got some infected fluid on it from someone who used the bathroom before or parts of feces or something

1. am i being over dramatic or extremly paranoid

2. I dont kno what to do stop this stupid thinking

I agree with JGF25.  The virus CAN NOT live on surfaces outside the body.  I was told this by a medical professional when I had my own concerns about possibly have contracted the virus.

As hard as it is just try to focus on the good things in your life.  If you find yourself thinking about it you have to tell yourself to "Stop" and focus on something else.  I am not saying this is easy because it isn't but you have to retrain your brain to think about something other than your fear of HIV.  You can do it if you really work at it.

HIV cannot live on surfaces and is only transmitted by human to human contact and not just any kind of contact.  It would have to be their blood into an open wound on the other person.  That is why intercourse is often a means of infection and even that is not 100 percent guaranteed.  There is absolutely nothing for you to worry about.
