Anxiety Attacks

I have "Mitral Valve Prolapse", maybe due to this, i feel strong Anxiety attacks frequently. My face becomes red, i choke, palpitations, chest pain, short breath, fear, nervousness, head spins and it lasts long. Is it due to Valve problem. How can i control this, or ease the effect a little?

You truly need to speak with your cardiologist and tell him all your symptoms.  He can tell you which ones are from your heart and which may be anxiety.  Then work on the anxiety.

Hi,i am not a doctor but if u have been diagnosed with MVP by an echo,ur cardiologist should have explained to you,how severe is ur MVP whether u need treatment with drugs or not, because some people have MVP but no symptoms at all,so in ur case its worth that u talk ur symptoms with ur doctor again.
